Reactions on Social Media

After the incident, both Sher Afzal Khan Marwat and Senator Afnan Ullah Khan took to social media to share their perspectives on the altercation. Senator Afnan confirmed that he had been "attacked" by the lawyer but emphasized his commitment to non-violence. He also referred to himself as a supporter of former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Senator Afnan tweeted, "Yesterday, September 27, I was attacked by Sher Afzal Khan Marwat during the talk show." Though I am a supporter of Nawaz Sharif, I am a nonviolent person. All PTI, but notably Imran Khan, should take note of the lesson I taught Marwat. Big, dark sunglasses will be required for them to wear, and they won't be allowed to reveal their faces to anyone."

Allegations and Defamation Case

On the other hand, Sher Afzal Khan Marwat accused the TV show host of spreading misinformation about the incident. He asserted that Senator Afnan had left the studio during the altercation and sought shelter in a nearby room, which he claimed to have discovered after reviewing the program. Marwat also expressed his intention to file a defamation case against the host.

Providing further details on Twitter, Marwat stated, "He's putting out allegations that my opponent was Superman. I learned after watching his show today that Afnan Ullah fled the studio and sought sanctuary in an adjacent room, but he is not presenting this information truthfully. I spent roughly five to seven minutes in the studio. I left after learning later that the segment had been canceled. They are biased for a variety of reasons, which I will discuss with the media on Sunday. In addition, I want to disclose the audio recording of our today's talk and file a criminal complaint and defamation lawsuit against him. I have a lot of information that the public should know. Keep an eye out."
