Dubai Authority announces free Parking Across City for National Day

Asma - | UAE

Public parking in Dubai will be complimentary from December 2–4, in observance of Union Day, according to the city's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).

This exemption applies to all public parking except multi-level terminals, and normal parking tariffs will resume on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.

Additionally, the RTA has provided information on changes in service timing for various transportation modes and customer service centers during this period.

Service Provider Centers (Vehicle Testing):

Beginning on Saturday, December 2, all service provider centers will be closed in observance of the holiday. On Monday, December 4, only certain centers, such as Tasjeel Al Twar, AutoPro Satwa, AutoPro Al Mankhool, Tasjeel Al Awir, and Al Yalayis, will restore car technical inspection services. Starting on Tuesday, December 5, all centers will restart all transactions.

Customer Happiness Centers:

There will be no customer satisfaction centers open throughout the holiday. Nevertheless, RTA's Head Office and Smart Customer Happiness Centers in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, and Al Kifaf will continue to provide their services at all times.

Dubai Metro:

From November 30 to December 12, the red and green metro lines will operate from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. the next day.

Dubai Tram:

During the same period, the Dubai Tram will run from Monday to Saturday, from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. the next day, and on Sundays, from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. the next day.

Public Buses:

From December 1 to December 3, specific bus routes directed towards Abu Dhabi on Sheikh Zayed Road will be affected. Bus routes 10, 15, 21, 7, 8, 83, 91, E101, 98E, 96, 95A, 95, 91A, X94, X92, and E102 will experience redirection and potential delays from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Road diversions may force the cancellation of some excursions and the closure of stops along certain routes. The other bus lines will run as usual, running from 4:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. on weekdays, from 5 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. on Fridays, and from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The metro link bus service will be a complement to the metro's schedules and itineraries.
