The incident occurred during the early hours of Friday morning, shortly before 5:35am, while heading towards Abu Dhabi.
Dubai Police swiftly responded to the scene after receiving the report, dispatching patrols and emergency crews to provide assistance. According to preliminary findings, the crash was caused by the pickup truck driver's failure to maintain a safe distance from the preceding lorry.
